An Open Letter from Bonnie Roberts

...addressing an anonymous petition calling for the resignation
of the TCOG Administrative Assistant. Even though it is commonly
known that the petition did not originate from Bishop Carter, the
following letter was forwarded to us and refers to this region, thus
we share it openly.
To Whom It May Concern
I felt very sad when I received three petitions against my General Overseer and Brother James Nabors. This lets me know the devil is still raging against The Church of God and whoever you are that refuses to submit to Brother Pruitt, God’s chosen and anointed leader.
You said Brother Pruitt is not getting the assistance he needs. Do you realize that it is you that is refusing to assist him by not accepting his decisions? Why do you want to blame someone else for your disobedience? You are certainly out of line with THEOCRACY! You are calling Brother Pruitt a liar in what he said in the February (2006) issue of The Evening Light that Brother Nabors in fact does what he (Brother Pruitt) tells and instructs him to do. If you were walking and living in the Spirit you would not yield to the flesh that is operated by the devil.
Please read the 16th chapter of Numbers and see what God did to Kora and his followers. He buried them alive. God is the same, yesterday, today and forever. Plus God’s Word reflects that HE is not a rewarder to those who fight His will or His people.
In 1st John 4:7-8 it tells us to love one another – not to destroy one another. According to Matthews 5:23, you will have to go and ask Brother Nabors to forgive you before you can go to Heaven. The Church teaches restitution because the Bible says so. It also says that love worketh no ill, no evil toward others. Galatians 5:15 says…”But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.” The Bible teaches that if we have aught against our brother – go to him. It does not say anything about petitioning against him. This is a very WRONG action you have taken against Brother Nabors. He is also God’s anointed.
You action is very similar to satan’s when he became dissatisfied with the way God was operating in Heaven. He (satan) petitioned the angels and upon declaring himself along with his followers, was cast out of Heaven. Not only are you in danger but the blood of any and all who may be deceived by your agenda shall be upon your hands.
The Church of God in Ocoee, Florida said to tell you that they stand by God’s Devine Theocratic Government which means standing by Brother Pruitt and all his appointments. You might as well close up your shop, because Jesus said He will build His Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. That means you or anyone else that is fighting against His Church is fighting a loosing battle and this includes Brother Pruitt and his decisions. Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. Why don’t you seek God for help as your soul is at stake. May God help you to see yourself before it is too late.
I thought it cowardly that you would not sign your name. Come to think of it, this is a sneaky, undermining, ungodly and very unrighteous thing or way to do. Why don’t you go the Bible way? Romans 16:17 & 18 says…”Now I beseech you, brethren mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctorine which ye have learned; and AVOID them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.” I plan to obey what the Word of God says rather than someone who is trying to corrupt the Body of Christ.
All unrighteousness will be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where there will never be a coffee break, no recesses and no exits. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
For your soul’s sake, will you please confess your sin, repent of it and seek God while you can? There are many choices in life but only two directions into eternity, which one will you take? If those 15 churches, 200 members and 43 ministers would have OBEYED God’s Word, they would still be in harmony with The Church of God.
Prayerfully, I humbly ask you to reconsider and make things right. I’m also bold enough to sign my name.
